FC Kallon prepares for African Confederations match
FC Kallon, Sierra Leone’s representative in the African Confederations Cup competition, are currently undergoing intensive training sessions at least twice a day at the National Stadium main bowl.
Speaking to this press, team captain, Mohamed Kallon said they are currently in high spirit in preparation for their Nigerian counterparts, Wori Wolves who will be visiting this coming Saturday in their first leg encounter at the National Stadium.
He said they have much respect for their opponents but are optimistic of winning the match by a bigger margin because they are playing in front of their home supporters. Kallon pleaded with Sierra Leoneans to storm the National Stadium main bowl to cant support for them as they are representing the Green, White, and Blue.
FC Kallon eliminated their rivals Sporting de Douala of Cameroon last month and are optimistic to go through both legs to the end of the competition. Mohamed Kallon, the former Inter Milan star, says his team is free of injury worries and that they are currently camping in a stretch distance to keep them all fit for the duel next weekend.
