Albert Gibao Lavay displays Nations Cup trophy

The sole sponsor of Ward 333 African Cup of Nations competition at Adonkia over the weekend displayed the brand new gold trophy meant for the 2012 African Nations cup champions at the Bango Farm playing field.

Speaking to SEM Sports, Albert Gibao Lavay said the glittering gold trophy is worth Le 1 million and the runners up’s silver trophy costs Le600,000. He said the consolation prizes and certificates of merits are also set for the individuals to bag.

In the current quarter final matches, Sierra Leone is going to engage Ghana, Libya will battle with Egypt, Tunisia will entertain South Africa, and Cameroon will tussle against Algeria and the grand finale is slated for Saturday March 31^st. The grand finale will climax with a beauty pageant show at the Bango farm beach for a winner prize of brand new 22″ Plasma television worth Le 2.500 .000.

Albert Gibao Lavay who will be contesting for councillorship in Ward 333 under the ruling All People Congress symbol appealed to all the twelve participating teams to avoid violence and register to vote in the November polls.
