Musa Tarawally blasts VP Sam Sumana
Musa Tarawally, Minister of Internal Affairs has come out in an open attack on the personality of Vice President Sam Sumana (in photo)whom he described as his enemy.
According to sources close to the Internal Affairs Minister, the Vice President is engaged in defaming him and that he is a victim of character assassination by the Vice President.
The minister went on further to intimate to a source that he is receiving various press bashings due to the Vice President whom he said is paying newspapers to malign him and give him a negative press report.
It has also been revealed that Musa Tarawally is not on speaking terms with the Vice President and that when Chief Sam Sumana was recently in Moyamba on an official visit, Musa Tarawally was not present to receive him, but instead decided to travel to Bo city where he organized a lavish party in clear defiance of protocol as he was expected to be on hand to receive the visiting Vice President in Moyamba.
Musa Tarawally is also reported to be engaged in canvassing for him to replace Chief Sam Sumana as the Vice President and he is actually engaged in making his plans go through by every means necessary.
It could be recalled that Musa Tarawally had been reportedly attacked in Koidu City, Kono when he reportedly visited the district as part of his campaign effort to be appointed as Vice President. His visit had been cause for a serious fracas which had resulted in a court action with claims that he had been attacked by supporters of Vice President Sam Sumana.
Musa Tarawally had also been accused of conniving with Kono District chairlady Madam Finda Diana Konomanyi whom it is said has been endorsing Musa Tarawally as opposed to Vice President Sam Sumana.
Neither Musa Tarawally or the Vice President have been available for their comments.
