Youths of Constituency 100 Ward 357 held a reconciliation meeting organized by Camp Line to explain their disgruntlement over the conduct of their member of parliament, Hon S.B.B Dumbuya and their councilor Suliaman Turay, all representatives of the governing APC party.

“We are still APC, but will neither pitch fence nor vote for the current Member of Parliament and his councilor,” Camp Line youths fumed.

“No need quit APC for another,” they continued, “just think wisely and vote wisely in the 2012 elections.”

At a meeting held at early this week at Thunder Hill east of Freetown, the public relations officer of Camp Line told a cross section of APC youth to remain forthright, support the ruling APC party but vote wisely.

He said in Constituency 100 they are certain President Koroma will make it for a second term, adding however that he has instilled confidence in the minds of the electorates.

Conversely, he said nothing significant is known of the elected Member of Parliament for Constituency 100.

A youth representative, Alhaji Bashiru, in his statement said nevertheless that as youth of this nation they are disgruntled over the conduct of a number of members of parliament and councilors representing respective constituencies.

“They’ve not helped us with jobs, have not advocated for us, and have practically abandoned us,” Bashiru said.

“We’ve had no interest from S.B.B Dumbuya and councilor Sulaiman; no vote for them in 2012 at all.”
