Ahmadiya celebrates 51st … Bo salutes President Koroma

Consequent to Ahmadiyah Muslim Jamat holding of its 51st Jalsa-thalaana anniversary conference in Bo, President Koroma receives salutation from residents.

The Bo conference starts at 10 a.m. this morning.  It is expected that President Koroma will deliver the keynote address and afterward declare the occasion opened.

His arrival, according to our Bo reporter, was affectionately greeted by a number of southeastern politicians; some of whom are former opposition Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) bigwigs.

Mohamed Jabbie (former SLPP public relation officer), alias Gbosh Gbosh (former SLPP chairman constituency 7 Kailahun district), General Ibrahim Washington Mansaray and host of southeastern tycoons appraised President Koroma for bringing development to their respective districts.

They assuredly give their hearted support for the President and said: “with us at the forefront, it is sure the southeast will pull vote for the APC in the coming elections.”

In his words, the resident Minister south, Moijeh Kaikai said President Koroma will be meeting with congregation of Muslim representatives including Imams in Bo district soon after the juma prayer to offer building materials for the construction of a fence on the periphery of the Bo new site praying field.

He said however that the forenamed praying field has been abandoned for over twenty years now.

“The President is determined to see the Bo new site praying field fenced within a month,” the Minister said.

“Muslims in Bo have longed discussed this with me and I have in turned chatted it over with the President long before now.”

It is disclosed however that hundreds of Muslim followers will congregate at the praying field this afternoon to cheer President Koroma as he humanly offer building materials that worth millions to Muslims in Bo for the fencing of their praying field.
