Alusine Baggio Kamara, a young sensational Sierra Leonean midfielder. who plays for Swedish Allvasanka Top tier side Syrianska has revealed to Sierra Express Media that it came as a surprise when the news broke out to him that he was amongst the players called up by the Leone Stars Swedish technician Headed by Lars Olof Mattsson, for the South Africa match this weekend October 8th in the ongoing 2012 African Cup of Nations qualifiers
Kamara 20 years of age, is a former player for local club FC Kallon. He said this is his biggest dream, playing for the National Team during this time as there is stiff competition amongst players as all of them are doing extremely well for their respective clubs he told Sierra Express Media.
According to a chat on Facebook website, Kamara was quoted as saying, “It was a surprise and great for me. This will be the first time I will represent at senior level. I’ve played for the National team once but it was a friendly in Nigeria this year, Kamara said.
“The crafty midfielder has performed well since he joined Syrianska from 2nd division side Motalla FF,” said Tejan Kamara a Sierra Leonean Football scout based in Cyprus.
