Dear Editor
I read with sadness the story on the “Hit and Run” accident.
As a concerned citizen, I one is troubled that such a report by your esteemed
medium should in some way make suggestions to the government and other law
enforcement bodies to step up their efforts in road safety. i believe your
report should have made such recommendations and also criticise the police and
the Vehicle Licensing office for not able to immediately trace the registered
owner/keeper of the vehicle that was involved in this accident that resulted the
death of one of our fellow human.
I implore you to take it upon yourself to ask questions rather than the mere
reporting of events. Let conscience be in our everyday vocabulary.
Thank you for the report and I pray you treat my observations and comments above
with serious thoughts.
Sincerely yours
Chez Winakabs
