High we exalt thee
Out of the Ashes of war The former sleeping Lion In the Lion’s Mountain Suddenly wakes up @ 50!Over the hills of Lion’s Mountains The hero wakes up in great triumph With floating banners With an enthusiasm that never tires
O You great spirit of our fore fathers Bless our motherland on this her 50th birthday Guide her leaders in the path of righteousness High we exalt thee!

What a patriotic-intoned poem! Thank you very much Mr Momoh. These are the kind of nationalistic creativities that we expect from educated Sierra Leoneans everywhere.
The tone, the theme and timing of your poem, “High We Exalt thee” are all just appropriate. Congratulations!
