Tetteh nets double to secure AIK’s victory

AIK defeated Mjallby 3-0 at their Råsunda Stadium in Stockholm in front of 11,966 spectators. Viktor Lundberg open the score line just 40 minutes into the first half.

Tetteh in celebration after netting his first goal on the day ran to the stands to celebrate with his fellow Sierra Leonean and strike partner Mohamed Bangura who was out of the match due to injury, but was cautioned by the referee.

According to team mate and strike partner Viktor Lundberg, just after two games now he realizes that AIK is sitting on something special with the Sierra Leone – duo Ibrahim Bangura and Mohamed Bangura.

“It’s was fun to play with two very talented strikers, ” said Viktor Lundberg.

“It worked well in the derby and it worked well today. Both show that they really are in the headlines.”

Just two matches into the league AIK is now in third position with four points behind Helsingborg and Orebro, playing 0-0 away from home in Djurgårdens last Monday 4 April.

Tetteh 21, speaking with Sierra Express Media correspondent in the UK said, “No one could have told me I would have scored twice against a tough side like Mjallby, it was great start to what has already been described as a tough season.”

“Thanks to every AIK fans for their support and with hard work there are many more in store. The boy from Sierra Leone was very excited knowing he is all over the headlines in the Swedish press just after the game.
