Kissy youths Thursday arrested and dragged to Kissy Police, a night hustler, for attacking two Lebanese investors.
Abdulai Kanu, who finds rest in Kissy Police cells, last week attacked Hassaneina Hajten and Halmanne Abdulai at a Fuel Station in Kissy to rob them off their monies.
The attacker, we are told, inflicted wounds on the throat and right hand of Hassaneina Hajten.
In his part, Hassaneina told our reporter that Abdul asked them for money or unfailingly kill them.
It is revealed also that with the intervention of youths at Kissy, the investors were rescued and the attack apprehended and taken to Kissy.
A pen knife was found in Abdul’s possession which formed part of police exhibits.
Hassaneina and Halmanne are Lebanese by nationality and are in Sierra Leone on a business trip.
Findings say that the said Lebanese investors have invested monies in the improvement of the structures of Moon Bakery; a business owned by one of Sierra Leone’s prominent businessman – owner of Sierra Fishing Company.
It could be recalled that on number of times, business people have been made to return to their country of origin owing to the spate of armed attacks or 419er activities.
Even though Hassaneina and Halmanne maintained they will continue business in Sierra Leone, it is suggested that the police step up security patrols to help forestall arm attacks by unscrupulous individuals.
Police source indicate that Abdul has admits attacking and inflicting wounds on one of the Lebanese investors.
Police Investigation continues.
