Football fans euphoric in Ouagadougou

Agog supporters in Ouagadougou could not help but take pride after this victory against the Red Devils of Congo. It was on penalties but that doesn’t matter as the victory means it is the third time the young stallions are in the finals of the competition after it being 10-years ago they last tasted it.
“This means lots to us and our football, winning the trophy and being in the Mexico World U-17 FIFA finals shows lots of superiority and overwhelming, in four days, we will be waiting for the highest happiness and if our performance is anything to go by you can bet that the heroes will be received in Ouagadougou with full honor”, Sarr Traore told Sierra Express Media.
According Sarr fans laud their Portuguese Coach Rui Viera who finally overcame the odds to reach the much awaited finals of both CAF and FIFA.
“Saturday 22 January, is the day for a great final taking on host Rwanda. After 1999 and 2001 this is the third final in the history of our selection,” another Burkinabe told this media.
