“I have had series of dialogues with people living in communities within my jurisdiction. It sounds unpatriotic that Sierra Leoneans whose role should have been to exert watchdog control in the enhancement of government’s strides to improve the road network of this country, continues to deceitfully conspire with others in the stealing oil from the company that is hired to construct roads in this country – CSC Construction Company,”  LUC Kabba said. “Like I used to do while at Lumley, I have already put structures in place and will go after persons overindulging into fuel theft in Goderich and beyond.”

In an interview with Patrick Moseray, who claimed to be a taxi driver, he disclosed that as a driver, he was taken into service by Saidu Kamara to collect 33 rubber cans of diesel from Angola Town to Goderich village.

“It was agreed that persons owning the diesels will pay me Le 2,000 per rubber for every trip. I have transported diesel for Saidu on two occasions,” Moseray revealed.

Facts as discovered indicate that a taxi vehicle with registration ACD 667 was intercepted by team of vigilant Goderich police officers and into which were reasonable number of stolen diesel containers.

Saidu Kamara, who claimed ownership of the arrested diesels, said he has been getting it from Koreans at sea.

He further revealed how boats doing transshipment on the high seas sell diesel to them at cheaper rate.

It was also disclosed that the Police conducted a raid at Metchem Junction Goderich and arrested 40 gallons of diesel oil, but claimed it has no claimant.

CSP Kabbah, in an interview, promised to relentlessly exert watchdog authority on youths whose aim is to distress society.
