Suma’s Sodra have the advantage
Sheriff Suma (one of Sierra Leone’s fine footballers) was outstanding today Sunday 31st October, 2010 in his team’s first leg play-off in the Student Stadium against Sirius. The match ended 1-0 to Sodra, making it an advantage for J-Sodra from the University to stay in the Superettan next season.
Sirius made a good start with Sheriff Suma engineering his side’s form in what he described as a do or die showdown. However, it was J-Sodra’s leading scorer this season Par Cederqvist who struck in the 63rd minute that proved to be the match winner. J-Sodra and Sirius will be in action again next Sunday at the Stadsparksvallen stadium in the final qualifying match which will be a very tough return leg clash.
