Crude Star Beer: Potent Poison

The drink ‘Star Beer’ brewed and bottled by the Sierra Leone Brewery seemed to carry particles having the tendency to act as a potent poison in systems of persons drinking it.

Not far from real, Editor Ibrahim Samura, got the shock minutes after gulping half of a bottle of ‘Star Beer’ but noticed it was full of dirty thick bubbling particles.

The bar owner, who happened to be an APC Councilor (name withheld), was made to yell over such a discovery.

“Sir, I am sorry. Let me give you another bottle in replacement of this one,” the amazed and jittery bar owner said.

The scene went worse; when on the second supply of another pint of ‘Star Beer,’ uncountable bubbling rubbishes; seemingly having the capacity to poison systems of beer gulpers, was again found.

It could be recalled that in the early days of 2010, the ‘Standard Times’ newspaper was observed transmitting discoveries of poisonous contents found in sealed ‘Star Beers’ brewed and bottled by the Sierra Leone Brewery Limited.

The drink ‘Star Beer,’ according to findings, is consumed by almost 70% of person’s attracted to alcoholic drinks in Sierra Leone.

Facts revealing crude handling of production materials during manufacturing process of ‘Star Beer’ is said to have had the tendencies of causing serious breakout of a killer contamination in our society.

The Personnel Manager, Sierra Leone Brewery Limited, was contacted on his phone, but referred us to the company’s marketing officer, Mr. Macauley.

Although Mr. Macauley dodged making any comment as regards allegation of contaminated items found in bottled ‘Star Beer’ drinks, he promised to reach the office of Sierra Express Media to enable the reality himself, but up until press time never surfaced at all.
