Nasser Ayoub Supports Leone Stars

A man Sierra Leoneans tagged as a ‘philanthropist’ and ‘youth activist,’ Nasser Ayoub (in photo), will on Sunday, display a green, white and blue colour flag in camaraderie of the Leone Stars during their encounter with South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

The flag, which represents the national colours of Sierra Leone, is sized at 80 yards in length and represents Nasser Ayoub’s all out love for the country.

“Sierra Leone, unlike other countries the world over, is our home and there shall be no place better than it,” words of Nasser Ayoub as he relays information relating to his matchless support for Sierra Leone’s darling Leone Stars Sunday 10th encounter with Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

Nasser Ayoub, who spoke to pressmen with a smiling face, revealed how the designed 80 yards national flag was his show of true patriotism, love and good intentions for Sierra Leone.

That it is also a way of putting into minds of Sierra Leoneans, President Koroma’s ‘all for all’ call for change of attitudes and behaviours.

“I called on you (the press) to show to you my prop up for our darling Leone Stars in their encounter with Bafana Bafana come Sunday 10th. I have prepared the colours of our national flag in a distinctive manner, telling the world that Sierra Leoneans are one and united people,” Nasser said.

It could be recalled that Nasser is among persons born and grown in Sierra Leone and who, months ago, respectfully called on government to do re-look at the laws bordering on the attainment of Sierra Leone’s citizenship status.

Nasser, who is Vice Chairman East End Lions football club and who also doubles as owner of Africanus Hotel at King Street Freetown, has renowned credibility and has been contributing in the augmentation of sport in Sierra Leone.

The 80 yards national flag will be flown high at the national stadium on Sunday 10th.
