Football agent to watch Leone Stars v South Africa
Football Agent working for Global Soccer Management as Director of European Operations, Patrick Mork (in photo) will be in Freetown this Friday to watch Sierra Leone’s all significant second encounter for the 2012 AFCON Qualifier.
Mork is the agent for both Mohamed Poboshy Bangura and Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura; both players will be playing their trade next year in AIK Solna in the Swedish Allsvenkan division. According to Mork he will be in Freetown this Friday to witness this tight encounter between 2010 World Cup host, South Africa and host team Leone Stars. “I am going Freetown on Friday; it will be very nice to watch this encounter, Sierra Leone is a small country in football but with the result in Cairo against the African Champions and with the players coming up among the ranks in top European football, being part of it will be nice,” he said.
According to reports from Cairo, Al Ahly football club will also send representatives to watch this encounter; the Egyptians have set their eyes on Mohamed Bangura after his impressive display in the Swedish Allsvenkan.
AIK Solna earlier in September turned down 4.2million Swedish Krona, for Bangura from the Egyptian side.
Al-Ahly is the most crowned club in Africa, having won the Egyptian league twenty-five times and the Egyptian Cup thirty-five times, still hoping to sign the Sierra Leonean striker.
This is great for our players and for Sierra Leone football, with this clash of interest many soccer agents and international journalists around Africa and beyond will have their eyes on our boys.
