New Life United African Church in Boston- 2nd Annual Awards & Recognition

NEW Life United African Church 2010 Dinner and Community Awards Ceremony was held at the Lombardo Banquet Hall in Randolph Massachusetts on Friday September 17th 2010.  The vision of the senior pastor Rev. Osman Mansaray is to recognized outstanding Sierra Leonean individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact in the Sierra Leonean community in Massachusetts.  This year’s award recipients were from all works of life such as Imams, CEO’s, Doctors, sole Proprietor, etc. This is in line with 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 which talks about love, which is the foundation of our walk with Christ.

In his opening remarks, Pastor Osman, reminds the audience that the award ceremony is in line with his church’s vision to recognize and reward individuals that are demonstrating their commitment to the church and the Sierra Leonean community, He was also humble to acknowledge that he cannot achieve such a vision if not for the grace of God. He further acknowledges every one that helps in different committee to make the 2010 awards Ceremony a real success.

The evening was well organized; guests were well dressed, the food was deliciously prepared by the chefs at Lombardo. The Weather was perfect for the occasion.  The MC for the evening Mrs. Claudia Temple (on left in red) kept the awards presentation moving and entertaining. The ceremony was grace by guest artist Atila Bai Sesay and also local artist from Boston.
