IG wants 419ers caged … but targets police conspirators
The newly dressed Police Inspector General, Francis Munu, we are told, has robust plans to go after con artists who rest their all on the fleecing of monies of honest individuals of society.
A source at Police Headquarters revealed how IG Munu wants 419ers caged, prosecuted, convicted and made to serve imprisonment for wrong doings.
It was disclosed also that the new police boss has vowed keeping behind bars; police officers found indulging into organized crimes.
It is no hidden secret that officers of the SLP have had overindulging excesses on issues bordering on fraudsters and organized crimes.
Sources say police extreme connivance with fraudsters has brought to wreckage good intentions of honest investors – inflicting stings of fear in them.
It could be summed up that police officers on many occasions find themselves accused of conniving with criminals to dupe honest individuals of society.
In the years past, foreign nationals have had their monies fleeced by fraudsters who purport to be gold/diamond business people knowing same to be false.

congratulation on your appointment as the new IG of police.Are you sure you will be able to cage these 419’s?If you can i applaud you in advance, because this has been a loosing battle for your institution in the history of crime fighting in sierra Leone.because there are still some rotten fishes in the force that gives bad names to the rest of you.Sorry to say this sir,some of your guys are the ones helping these so called 419’s with their dubious activities anyway,rendering tip off when the law is about to take it course.there are many instances for example GK got tipped when they were about to burst his punk A** for that plane load of cocaine at lungi Int airport.Thank god for the Liberian and U.S DEA,now we have one less drug dealer off the street.Another instance in was in magistrate court #1 sometimes last year the same alimamy fifty pound was in court to answer to a case of fraudulent conversion against one of our foreign based player from Cyprus.boy,out of my wildest dream as soon as this con man enters the court room most of the police and clerks went up to greet him.anyway guess what?as they were leaving he went deep in his pocket and pull out other peoples money that he defrauded and greases these officers hands in broad day light.Anyway i wish you all the best in your new appointment and may god give you strength and long life to tackle this stressful job.just hope that the rest of the force will stand by your side.God Bless U!!!!
