SIERRA Update goes worldwide
One of Sierra Leone’s most celebrated news magazines published in London by the Sierra Leone High Commission in the United Kingdom, can now be read worldwide through the internet.
SIERRA Update News Magazine has just released its fourth edition featuring achievements of President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma’s ruling All People’s Congress government.
The latest edition also features special coverage of President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma’s strides towards the sustainability of democracy in Sierra Leone as well as the recent performance in Freetown of Afro-American Senegalese pop musician Akon.

“Akon’s Freetown performance is signalling a very important message to the rest of the International Community and it is good we help re-echo that message through the press,†said the magazine’s Publisher Sorie Sudan Sesay who is also Information Attaché at the High Commission.
The magazine also features an exclusive interview of Sierra Leone’s Vice President Samuel Sam Sumana and that of the country’s First Lady Sia Koroma respectively.
The inside stories on the presentation of credentials by Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Edward Mohamed Turay to Buckingham Palace and Cyprus, also form parts of the package in the latest edition of the magazine.
The good news about the current edition is that, it can also be accessed online on www.sierraupdate.com, while a special page has been created on Facebook to attract wider readership.
Already, encouraging comments are being posted on the web page from Sierra Leoneans from various parts of the world.
Sudan said his aim is to bring massive awareness about the work of the President and his government to Sierra Leoneans both at home and abroad and the rest of the International Community.
