The news magazine, SIERRA Update features activities of the government of President Koroma in various areas of national development since it came to power three years ago.

Also contained in the magazine are exclusive interviews, exciting features as well as a research analysis of the government’s international diplomatic performance.

“This edition is classic and the presentation and contents contained in the magazine are not only professional but very informative especially for Sierra Leoneans in the Diaspora,” said the magazine’s publisher and renowned journalist Sorie Sudan Sesay.

Sudan said copies of the magazine will be distributed to diplomatic missions in the United Kingdom as well as to other parts of Europe and in the United States of America.

“It’s about time we showcase Sierra Leone in a positive light to the International Community for them to know about developments in Sierra Leone,” the publisher said.

SIERRA Update, which is also accessible online on www.sierraupdate.co.uk, was first published in November last year during the Trade and Investment Conference in London where it was distributed to delegates.

According to Sudan, he had decided to come up with this magazine to help change the perception of members of the International Community that Sierra Leone is fastly marching towards economic development under the leadership of President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.

The Investment Conference itself was a major success for Sierra Leone and her people and since then, there has been massive turn-out of potential investors trooping into the country for business opportunities.

Meanwhile, one year after it was first organised, another Investment conference has been scheduled for November 15, this year at the Royal Commonwealth Society on Northumberland Avenue.
