Doctor with Africa CUAMM, Partners Presents Diabetes Report
Doctor with Africa CUAMM with support from World Diabetes Foundation on Thursday May 24th, 2019 presented the 2017- 2019 final report on Integrated Diabetes Screening with Antenatal Care a Hospital Setting in Freetown.
In his PowerPoint presentation, representative from CUAMM Frederio Olivo noted that the report captured a total number of Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred women in all the Integrated Diabetes Scenting Clines during a period of almost two year.
Mr. Olivo continued that Sierra Leone highest maternal mortality ratio MMM of any country in the world, estimated at 1,360 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births.
