Nigerian Cocaine Trafficker Refused Bail Again
A Nigerian national Ferdinand Ekwunife Okeke yesterday made his second appearance before Magistrate Henry Sandy of Freetown Court No 1A where he was refused bail and sent to the Pademba Road Maximum Prison on a three count charge of conspiracy to commit a felony contrary to law, unlawful possession of cocaine and transportation of Narcotic Drugs contrary to law.
It may be recalled that the accused was arrested on the 11th April 2010 at the Lungi International Airport at Kafu Bullom Chiefdom in the Port Loko district with 62 pellets of cocaine when he made his first appearance last Friday and was denied bail by the presiding magistrate, he was represented by lawyer Francisis Issa and the matter prosecuted by Inspector Zizer the matter was adjoined to next Tuesday.
