Africell Brings ‘Wuteteh’ Kekes For Its Subscribers
Sierra Leone’s leading telecommunication company, Africell on Thursday 22nd November 2018, launched the Africell ‘Keke’ Promotion at the company’s headquarters on Wilberforce in Freetown.
Making a statement during the launching, the Station Manager of AIRadio, John Konte, spoke on the good relationship the company has been enjoying with the media and its numerous subscribers stating that as a company they are here to stay and build good customers’ relationship.
Since the company’s inception, he said, the company has made tremendous progress to bring new development ideas which aims at giving back to its lovely customers. John Konte stated that this year’s promotion is geared towards giving opportunity to people who are yearning to start-up a business especially the younger ones.
He said that the company is always in support of the media, music, art, and entertainment, adding that they demonstrated their support for the entertainment industry by signing Sierra Leonean artists as Africell brand ambassadors.
In another statement, Nancy Joseph, Head of Africell Media Section said the promotion will be aired on major radio and television stations Monday to Friday at 8pm to 9pm every day. She said any subscriber who recharges Le,1000 will have one chance for the draw stating that those who will emerge victorious will receive one ‘keke’. She noted that if a subscriber recharges through Africell Money the customer will have double chances for the draw.
Nancy Joseph went further to say that the promotion will last for 4 weeks intimating that besides the keke, other special prizes will be given to successful winners. She noted that on Christmas and New Year’s Day, the promotion will be increased from one to five ‘kekes’.
She said the more one tops up the more your chances and that every day Africell will go on poda poda ride and ask passengers questions and they will pay transportation and win Le1million Leones every day.
Christmas Day prizes she said will increase by 5 kekes, and again on New Year’s Day also by another 5 kekes. Prizes would include Le 250,000 for 1 question and Le 40,000 Leones recharge top will be given to all the passengers on board the poda-poda.
Abdul-Aziz Kamara, Head of Event & Sponsorship, expressed similar sentiments and encouraged all to buy Africell Sim card, recharge their mobile phones through Africell and get a chance to win the Africell Christmas and New Year promotion.
