Over Hajj Scandal Victor Foh & Co. Indicted
According to an authentic subpoena from the High Court of Sierra Leone, dated the 12th June, 2018 at the criminal session of the High court Holden at Freetown slated to take effect on the 30th July this year – the erstwhile meticulous Vice President of this Republic, Victor Foh (in photo), Sheka Sahid Kamara, and Abu Bakarr Carew are charged with four (4) counts following the 2017 Hajj Gate saga which attracted a lot of attention. Amongst those enormous charges were;
Count 1
Conspiracy to commit a corruption offence, contrary to section 128(1) of the Anti-Corruption Act, No.12 of 2018.
Count 2
Misappropriation of public funds, contrary to section 36 of the Anti-Corruption Act, No.12 of 2008 etc.
In addendum to the elucidated matter, “The controversial Anti-Corruption Commissioner” duly informed the High court regarding this national upheaval.
