Deputy Youth Affairs Minister is an Epitome of Intelligence and Modesty

He is endowed with a rare je ne sais quoi that distinguishes him from many and that places him on an admirable pedestal to discharge his new responsibility with distinction.
Born to humble Sierra Leonean parents in Kenema, Lusine Kallon zoomed through the academic pride of the South- The Bo School and then proceeded first to the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology to bag a National Diploma in International Relations and then to IAMTECH to put under his belt a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management. Lusine Kallon served as the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Students’ Union President where he attracted more political converts in the various campuses.
As a fresh graduate from MMCET he gained employment with SLYEO as Administrative Assistant. After completing his under graduate degree, he secured employment with the Tropical Farms Limited as the Export/Import and Store Manager. At the end of contract, he was later employed as the Operations Manager for the Uncle Hong Mining Company. As a fully paid up member of the ruling SLPP he vied to become the National Young Generation leader. As a man who believes in the party’s core values, he supported the winner to achieve the party’s ambitious goal.
Throughout his life, Lusine has been people- friendly and his name and reputation sits well with the young. He has always entertained the drive to work in the arena of promoting young people and his appointment as Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Youth Affairs can best be dubbed as apt or putting the man in the right place.
Lusine always gets along well with others because of his sense of modesty, responsibility and respect for authority. He is obedient to a fault and he is a team player. He has the capacity to blend well with his boss or subordinates for the overall accomplishment of the New Direction’s objectives.
President Bio has eyes on the development prize and his decision to appoint Lusine Kallon will be hugely rewarded. He has just succeeded in appointing a jewel with passion for success and hard work. And make no mistake in writing the young man off! He is equal to the task and he is odds on to impress.
