AIG Arrests Seven Hardcore Criminals

The newly transferred Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police, Alfred Karrow Kamara of the Freetown East region has arrested seven (7) alleged hardcore criminals at Kent village in the Western Rural District.

According to the no-nonsense AIG, those guys were described to be some of the most dangerous armed robbers in that part of the country with cutlasses, pepper spray, sticks and dressed in black and wore cold caps.

According to reports, the alleged armed robbers included Amadu Sesay, Morlai Dumbuya, Osman Sesay, Alimamy Conteh, Alfred Kargbo, Abubakarr Koroma and Issa Tholley.

The AIG is therefore calling on Police in the Freetown East to be very pro-active and to never encourage corruption while executing duties in their various divisions.

He assured residents of the Western Rural District that he is always ready to work with them in harmony as far as information dissemination is concerned and urged stakeholders to work in consonant with the Police for better policing.

The AIG commended President Bio for his vision to transform the country and described himself as not a politician but Police officer and also complained of lack of mobility to fast track their movements especially the anti-robbery unit.

However, Karrow Kamara commended all Police officers in his division for their input and spoke on the need to discourage armed robbers who he described as bad people in society and ended by commending the Inspector General (IG) of Police and encouraged the people Kenema District to maintain peace and be law abiding.
