Bio releases first cabinet positions
Margai, J.J Saffa, Alpha Timbo Others Appointed – In exercise of his first presidential duties, the newly elected president of the Republic of Sierra Leone, his Excellency Retired Brigadier Julius Maada, has on Thursday 12th April, 2018 named a list of 14 nominees for various cabinet positions who are subject to Parliamentary approval.
In a press release dated 12th April, 2018 from the Office of the President, a fourteen man list to serve in various cabinet capacities was released including Mr. Jacob Jusu Saffa, proposed minister of Finance, Mr. Charles Francis Margai,, proposed Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mr. Alpha Timbo, proposed Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Dr. Alpha Wurie, Minister of Health and Sanitation amongst others. Alhaji Kanja Sesay, Mohamed Swarry, Mrs. Emma Kowa, Dr. Tengbe, Adekunle Milton King, Edward Soluku, Yusuf Keketuma Sandi, Ms. Baindu Dassama, Brig. (Rtd) Simeon N. Sheriff and Sahr Lahai Jusu all make the list of appointees.
