Sam Sumana Takes Over Makeni City
Former Vice President of Sierra Leone Alhaji Chief Samuel Sam Saumana who is now the Presidential Candidate of the Coalition for Change Party (C4C) has assured the people of Makeni City that if become the next President of Sierra Leone he will do everything possible to bring development to the people of Makeni.
He made this statement while addressing thousands of supporters, senior members of the Coalition for Change (C4C) party at the township of Makeni City north of Sierra Leone.
According to Sam Sumana former elected Vice President of Sierra Leone said that the people of Makeni city have suffereda lot in hands of the APC government despite Makeni being refer to as the strong hold of the APC partyadding that the time has come for the people to embrace change the tool they want to use to redeem the them from the handsof desperate politicians who think they should get rich at the expense of the people.
Chief Samuel Sam Sumana recalled his days as Vice President of Sierra Leone the support and love he enjoyed in Makeni but waste no time to cast blame on his former boss President Koroma for being responsible for the poor state of Makeni city a place he described as is second home and called on them to vote massively for the Coalition for Change Party which has the ability to transform Makeni city from its current state to a modern city where life will better.
He blame the APC government under President Ernest Bai Koroma of promoting bad governance, corruption, tribalism and further divide the minds of the people because of his selfish interest adding that one reason he decided to form the Coalition for Change party is to redeem his people from the bad governance they surfer in the hands of the two old political parties since independence.
The former elected Vice President accused President Koroma of raping the 1991 Constitution of Sierra Leone and that the decision he took to remove him as Vice President was unconstitutional citing the ruling from the ECOWAS court in Abuja, Nigeria adding that he decided to return back home after speeding three years in Ghana fighting to liberate the people of Sierra Leone from the dictatorship of President Koroma and his cohort.
He called on the people of Makeni to vote the Coalition for Change Party come March 7th 2018 and one of their priority is to provide free education from kindergarten to university, establish one factory each to every district which in return will provide job employment for young people in the country and also bring more facilities that will develop the lives of the people.
The Presidential Candidate ended calling on people especially youth to stay away from political violence and appeal for a peaceful March 7th general elections.
