For 2018 Elections Judiciary to Train Judges
As Sierra Leoneans are expected to hold their Presidential, Parliamentary and Local Councils elections come March 7th 2018, the Sierra Leone Judiciary will hold a special training for old and new judges to properly address complaints that may erupt.
According to the Chief Justice of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Abdulai Charm who was responding to radio interview in Freetown, the training which is expected to start early next week will help place trainees in a better position to look into complaints before, during and after the 2018 general elections.
Justice Charm made it crystal clear that the case of double registration which came up will be handled by the lower courts.
He spoke on the need for the courts to get the matter through the police and Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
He assured Sierra Leoneans that the judiciary is on track as they are going through reforms adding that they are prepared to handle any matter that may come up.
