The Vice President of the Union, Vandy Lansana issued the strong warning as a means of responding to complain made by victims of the daylight robbery that certain people who are purporting to be assigned revenue collectors are receiving money under the name of the two institutions without issuing receipt to business owners.
In that regard, the Vice President in a desperate mood has issued a piece of advice to impersonators to desist from such illotivate attitudes against traders who depend for their daily bread in their little businesses and he warned traders never to honor any payment without receiving receipt or else the person is doing that at his/her own detriment because if he found wanting, there will be no option but to be arraigned in court for wrong doing.
He encouraged victims of the circumstance to always complain at the Sierra Leone Traders Union (SLeTU) Waterloo branch or any other subdivision across the country to maintain accountability and transparency within the trade sector..
