Poor Revenue Generating System at National Tourist Board

The GM asserted that they are experiencing low access to credit, weak public relations, high dependency on the performance of other sectors, relatively weak human capacity to deliver quality services in the private sector/tourism establishment among others.

On the NTB key deliverables, Osagie stated that they determine to increase revenue by 10% in 2018 if the proposed revenue generation strategy is legislated and maintained that classification and registration of tourist establishment in the western area is also in plan.
Speaking on the ongoing projects, the Deputy Director advanced that the NTB will recommence the implementation of Sustainable Tourism Development and promotion project under the enhanced integrated framework.
