MPWO-SL Ends Stakeholders meeting

A Community based organization (CBO) known as the Moyiba Progressive Women Organization Sierra Leone (MPWO-SL) has ended a one day workshop with community stakeholders yesterday at the newly constructed Pentecostal Primary School up Boro-pitch via water Nar life Moyiba community in Freetown.

Speaking to members of the organization and guests, the Aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) for constituency 102, Momoh Kamara encouraged all members to pay more attention on important issues that are affecting the community in terms of development and transformation.

The aspiring aspirant told listeners that they have formed this group way back in 2012 with the motive of pioneering his political campaign to acquire the All Peoples Congress (APC) party symbol adding that they are currently focusing on the launching of the organization which he said has remained dormant over the years as a result of his failure to acquire the symbol.

Mr. Kamara united all CBO’s including Wan Word Unit Organization under an umbrella organization called the Moyiba Community Youth Forum-Sierra Leone (MCYF-SL) to foster unity and development.

Chairlady, MPWO-SL, Fatu J. Conteh appealed to members to wake up this time to achieve their desired goals which are to officially premier the organization and to seek symbol for Mr. Kamara who happens to be the proprietor of Kankalay Primary School and also one of the main pioneers for the construction of the Moyiba Community Health Centre (MCHC), Religious houses, safe drinking water, public toilets, access roads, among others.

On his own part, the aspiring APC constituency Chairman of the mentioned vicinity, Mr. Osman Kamara commonly known as Pa Yapo pledged his logistical and moral support for the launching of the organization. He therefore admonished every member of the community to give his or her own support to foster development and improved on other key areas for future generation.
