MSM Thrill Out With A Different Sound

MSM Thrill is a Nigerian hip hop duo from Lagos State, consisting of rapper/ singer Kelly Vinelly (Momodu Kelly) and rapper, singer/ producer Bobby (Momodu Robertson) it was formed in 2012 and became official 2015, and is set to release their upcoming mixtape later this year, All tracks on the album E.H.S.E was produced by Bobby, Momodu Kelly and Momodu Robertson are brothers and took the names Kelly Vinelly and Bobby as rapper names, after which they began to record songs together, learning how to structure songs properly and practicing vocal delivery.

A prominent theme in Kelly Vinelly’s lyrics is his allegorical use of parts of the speech ranging from word play, simile’s to metaphors from experiences in his natural surroundings,Bobby the other member of MSM Thrill uses different rapping skills which is mostly drawn to storytelling, Collaboration includes working with producer Tommy boy

The group is set to release their debut singles and following after that, their debut mix tape E.H.S.E( Eleventh Hour Simple Effects)

1. HOW DID YOUR JOURNEY INTO MUSIC START? It started with a lot of free-styling and practicing.
2. WHEN AND WHY? It started during our younger years, we would always gather round and freestyle with other people, we loved the happiness derived from it , and that happy feelings has always been our drive.
3. WHAT IS YOUR MUSIC STYLE? Our music style is Hip Hop.
4. DO YOU COMPOSE YOUR SONGS? Yes we do.
5. IF YES, WHAT COMES TO YOUR MIND WHEN COMPOSING? How best to get the job done.
6. NUMBERS OF TRACKS RELEASED? 14 tracks.
7. TELL US ABOUT HOW U CAME ABOUT ONE OF YOUR SONGS OR WHAT INSPIRED THAT SONG? Sometimes you pass through certain situations and I think it’s best to use your initiative to find inspiration from whatever situation you find yourself.
8. ANY COLLABORATION WITH OTHER artiste? Yes.
9. WHO ARE YOUR INSPIRATIONS? A lot, from Kanye west to Jay Z, Jessie Jagz, many good artistes that do good music.
10. WHAT ARE YOUR CHANCES IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY? Well, time will tell that.
11. ASIDES MUSIC, WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING? Working for my father as a personal assistant.
12. AS AN UPCOMING ARTISTE, WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES YOU FACING IN THE INDUSTRY? Challenges will always be there , can’t put our fingers on a particular one, our prayer is to always get over all of them
13. IF YOU MAKE IT BIG, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? I would love my parents to see everywhere in the world.
14. WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF WITH YOUR MUSIC CAREER IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS? By Gods grace, hope to make Nigeria a force to be reckoned with in the aspect of entertainment.
15. FAMILY BACKGROUND, Born into a Christian family of 6, our parents and two brothers, my dad is a quantity surveyor and my mom used to be a fashion designer,  now a house a wife.
16. ARE YOUR PARENTS IN SUPPORT OF YOUR MUSIC CAREER? Yes they are.
17. HOW WAS GROWING UP LIKE, growing up in Nigeria is inspiring, you got to love it.
