Kandeh Yumkella thrills Kissy

Leading Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) flag bearer aspirant, Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella, on Saturday, November 21 this year thrilled record crowds at the Mile End Field Mini Stadium in the heart of Kissy in the east of Freetown, where he was Special Guest of Honour at the final match between the Sabanoh Hunters Society and the Kanike Hunters Society.

Dr. Yumkella who took the kick-off was accompanied by senior officials of the SLPP an entourage including Western Area Chairman, Chief Brima Keita.

Describing Dr. Yumkella as an illustrious Sierra Leonean who has brought a lot of laurels and development to the country, the commentators at the match said it was a rare privilege for the people of Kissy to see him in the flesh for the very first time.
