Dolat Ventures, Millennium Mining LLC in Current Diamond Production

Millennium Mining Operating at 20 Tons and Averaging 7-10 Carats per Day

Dolat Ventures Inc. announced today that its diamond mining subsidiary Millennium Mining LLC of Sierra Leone is currently operating and its daily processing capacity is running at close to 20 tons per day.

“All of the current processing is currently being done by hand but we are finding an average around 7-10 carats per day of diamonds,” announced Mr. Dovid Hauck, President of Dolat Ventures. “With the recent merger and the strength we have been seeing from the market we expect to begin expansion very quickly and increasing our daily capacity,” he added.

Sierra Leone’s diamond exports were valued at $98 million in 2008, according to the latest data published by the Kimberley Process (KP). The most recent official Sierra Leonean export figures valued shipments of diamonds, the country’s main source of foreign currency, at $79 million for 2009.
