Three clubs make Simbo most wanted

Sierra Leone and Al Hilal FC player David Simbo has been a most wanted target by three top African clubs for the past two weeks. The clubs which have shown interest in the player are Egyptian side Zamalek, Tunisian club Esperance FC and Libyan top club Al Ahly Benghazi as revealed by club chairman Alhaji Atta Amanan. The 25-year-old Sierra Leonean international has been in fine form for both club and country in recent months, playing in all four of Sierra Leone 2015 Nations cup qualifiers so far, and also a vital player to the club success so far as they hope of winning the league this weekend. Now, given his impressive showing on the field, it seems that the centre-back is attracting interest from different parts of the world, with two clubs in Europe said to be keen on landing him but we see the African clubs are showing more interest in him than that of our European counterpart as their offer is far better than the European Atta told www.FootballSierra Leone.

David Simbo, said, “I am aware that these clubs have made an official request for me as I was told by my coach before our home game last Monday, wherein I scored my first goal for the club in a 3-0 win over El-Ahli Atbara and was also named player of the match, but as for now, I am looking forward to winning the league with my team and afterwards I will talk about my future.”

Meanwhile Al Hilal is first on the league table with 61 points out of 24 matches played so far. If they win their last home match to Al Merreikh FC they win the league, but if they lose Al Merreikh will win the league as they are second on the log with 60 points.
