Restless Development targets 25 slums
The Program Coordinator Restless Development Sierra Leone, Daniel Kettor in an exclusive interview informed this medium that training of sixty two peer educators is on going to sensitize 25 slum communities in the Western Area.
Kettor made this disclosure on October 21st this year at Council of Churches Sierra Leone Conference Hall in Freetown.
He said the project is a month venture that is getting sponsorship from Comic Relief in London. He noted that participants of the training are from various youth organizations that partners with Restless Development to address the Ebola crisis in slum communities.
Kettor maintained that youths are the energetic sector of every society that have the courage to penetrate all slum communities and said that is the reason why his institution have decided to work with the youths.
Ending the interview the Program Coordinator said the rationale behind the training is to ensure that the whole country is Ebola free particularly the slum communities.
