Riots continue in Freetown, Sierra Leone
Unrest continues in Freetown for a second day as tension mounts in the streets between the bike riders, youths, and Sierra Leone Police after the death of a bike rider who was chased by Okada Task Force and Sierra Leone Police.
Shops are staying closed and traffic is chaotic with many vehicles being damaged as people run amok and tear gas has been fired.
Meanwhile government, Bike Riders Union, civil society organizations, and political parties have gathered to mediate the situation. It is hoped that an immediate resolution is found.
