Woobay advised Zagalo
Gibrilla Woobay has advised fellow Sierra Leonean and Karzan Lankaran new signing Alfred Zagalo Sankoh to stay focused and work hard if he wants to succeed in Azerbaijan.
Sankoh, joined Woobay in Azerbaijan from Turkey this weekend and the Leone Stars player was quick to congratulate the young forward. “First I have called him and congratulated him. I wished him all the best in his new challenge,” Woobay told Sierra Express Media Sports.
Woobay who has spent most of his career in Azerbajan, advised the forward to work hard if he is to win over the fans. “He should be focused and work hard to make his mark. The fans will love him if he works very hard and scores goals.”
I know Zagalo is a good player and hope he will do his best and will be loved in the Midlands. He is very hardworking and humble and he always tries to put the team first. I’m sure Lankaran Board of Directors are very happy about the player they have signed,” said Woobay.
