NASSIT visits state-of-the-art records centre

A high-powered delegation of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), headed by the Acting Director-General, Joseph Sedu Mans (in photo), on Friday, July 18th, 2014, paid a day’s visit to the on-going construction of a masterpiece records centre belonging to the Trust.

The Acting Director-General, in an interview, assured this press that the building will be completed in the next two months and the press will be invited to witness the commissioning.

He noted that such a magnificent records centre being constructed is a clear manifestation of the importance NASSIT attaches to records.

Head of Records, Abdulai Kargbo, re-echoed that thr records centre shows how NASSIT treasures records.

Director of System and Technology, Amara Kargbo, who doubles as Deputy Director-General in charge of Administration and Human Resources, stated that the records centre will be used to store hard and soft copies of all NASSIT documents which can be accessed in case there is a disaster at the head office.

According to him, after completion, the building will become one of the best in the West African sub region.
