Togetherness is the key for Leone Stars… says Christian Caulker
Leone Stars goalkeeper, Christian Caulker, believes the team can qualify for the 2015 AFCON after 18 years in the struggle if they can input the spirit of oneness.
Caulker who is one of the first names on John McKinstry’s team sheet told Sierra Express Media on the weekend at the Football Academy after the match between Leone Stars Veterans and the current squad which ended 3-2 in favour of the veterans, as a way to commemorate the 15 years death of former goal king Brima Attouga Kamara, “There is always a good vibe among us when we come together and we’ll need that at this weekend’s game with Seychelles, adding we need to put on the spirit of onenessthat we put on away to Egypt some four years ago.”
“I think playing at the 2015 AFCON for Sierra Leone will be good for a lot of the players, and not just me,” he said.
