UDM party PRO resigns
The National Publicity Secretary United Democratic Movement (UDM) party, Editayo George Temple on 4th June 2014 tendered his letter of resignation to the National Executive Council of the party at their 112 Pademba Road Office in Freetown.
According to the resignation letter, his reason for resigning is “not unconnected to the fact that I am disenchanted with the leadership style of Mohamed Bangura, the embattled Chairman and Leader of the UDM, following his inability to be accountable, transparent thus not maintaining the principles of separation of power, delegated legislation and administrative best practice respectively in the UDM”, the letter read.
However, he wished the party well in their daily political endeavours and hoped that internal mechanisms will be instituted in the party in a bid to rebrand the tainted image of the party and making it a viable registered political party operating in Sierra Leone.
