NDA suspends three executive members for fraud

In a press briefing held on Friday May 30, 2014 at 12 Duke Street, Freetown it was revealed that three executive members of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) party have been suspended for embezzling over Le 173 billion from the party coffers in recent times.

According to our reliable source, party officials allege that the three suspended executive members are in breach of Article 8 section 8 of the NDA party constitution and that they were caught forging signatures to the NDA bank account and that as stated, is contrary to certain parts within their political party’s constitution.

Our source further disclosed that members of the NDA revealed that within their constitution it was agreed, confirmed, and stated, that the signatories of their account were noted as the chairman, financial secretary, and treasurer of the party.

Prior to the opening of account, Mr. Mohamed S. Jalloh the Secretary General signed as the Financial Secretary, Mr. Abdul Razack Bah an ordinary member signed as the National Coordinator and Treasurer, and Alhaji Mohamed Wurie Musida Jalloh the Flag Bearer Aspirant in the 2012 parliamentary and presidential elections also fraudulently signed as Chairman.

Further sources disclosed that after thorough investigations by members of the NDA, headed by the National Women’s leader and ADOC Committee chairperson Mrs. Augusta-James Teima, the three suspended executive members of the NDA deserve punishment above their suspension and that the group is presently reasoning to bring them to public court of judgment.

“We have love and respect for members of our political party and are determined to pursue any course of injustice against them,” Mrs. Augusta-James Teima.

It was further disclosed that the suspended members were given 90 days to refund the cash into the coffers of the NDA and that any delay or failure to do so will result in a punishment that will be agreed upon by other executives and the general membership of the political party
