Satellites in Tamale ahead of Sierra Leone Shooting Stars visit

SEM UK Sport understands that a 25-man squad with technical members of the Ghanaian team departs Accra for their Tamale based.

The former African Champions are in pole position to qualify for the next stage, after a wonderful away performance in Sierra Leone at the newly Bo city Stadium, defeating host Shooting Stars by a 2 goal margin.

Fourteen teams are in contention for the remaining seven slots for the finals.

The tournament is slated between 8 – 22 March 2015 to be hosted in Senegal, and the semi-finalist from eight-nation tournament will qualify to the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Shooting Stars are expected to depart Freetown for Ghana on Tuesday with a 25-man delegation, details of delegation is yet to be announced.
