2015 AFCON qualifier… Ngcamphalala still believes
Ahead of the return leg in Freetown of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers clash between Sierra Leone, Leone Stars and Sihlangu Semnikati of Swaziland, SEM Sport UK understands that Swaziland Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala (in photo) still believes Sihlangu are still able to turn the result in their favour.
In an interview with press men after the first leg of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers clash against Sierra Leone at the Somhlolo National Stadium, the Swaziland minister said he is confident his team will win the second leg.
“Judging from their performance here today, I believe Sihlangu Semnikati can win against our opponents. Also considering the rankings between the two countries, I can safely say that we did well today,” he said.
The Swaziland minister then expressed gratitude to the DPM, Cabinet, Members of Parliaments and the nation that came out to support the nations’ pride.
“We were honoured to have the DPM watch the game. Most of our cabinet ministers were here and this shows the support from our government. We are also happy with the supporters that came to rally behind the team,” he said.
The minister said as a cabinet they were planning something that would bring back supporters to the Somhlolo National Stadium in Swaziland.
“We have been discussing something with our Cabinet and should the boys win the second leg then we have something in store that will ensure that Somhlolo is filled to capacity,” he said.
