AGSL to organise a football gala
The Association of Guineans in Sierra Leone (AGSL), a social organization of Guineans aimed at unifying Guineans based in Sierra Leone has disclosed to the Sierra Express Media Sport that the Association will organise a one-day gala competition at the Parade playing field on Friday 25th May 2014.
According to the Team Manager of the Guinean Football Club, Alusine Kamara, who also doubles as the Vice President of the association said they are organizing the gala as a way of bringing together Guineans based in Sierra Leone so as to foster the fraternal relationship among its members.
Mr. Kamara further disclosed that the Guinean ambassador in Sierra Leone, His Excellency Seiba Kamara has been fully informed regarding the essence of the football gala competition and that the Association of Guineans in Sierra Leone (AGSL) will be officially launched on that day.
In the opening match, Soweto FC will engage Fullah Banta FC at 3:00 p.m. and the second match will see COFA 2014 Champions Magazine FC battling it out against Guinean FC at 5:00 p.m. and the kick- off will be taken by the Guinean Ambassador to Sierra Leone.
The Vice President of the association is calling on all Guineans in Sierra Leone to come and witness this competition at the Parade playing field.
