Former Leone Star Captain Mohamed Kallon arrested and detained

Police sources have disclosed to Sierra Express Media that former Leone Stars Captain Mohamed Kallon, has been arrested and detained for ‘insulting’ and ‘assaulting’ the female President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Mrs. Isha Johansen.

Kallon was reportedly invited for questioning this morning shortly after confessing on radio that he did not only insult the lady president but went further to raise a hand on her.

It could be recalled that a serious scuffle ensured between Kallon and his supporters, Victor Lewis and his supporters, and Mrs. Johansen on Thursday, during and after the F.A. match between Kallon FC Jnr and Nottingham Forest.

The lady president ended up slapping Kallon, and she has since categorized her action as self-defence.
