Top ten grassroots coaches to work with Arsenal youth coaches

Grassroots football consultant with the Sierra Leone FA, John Keister has said the top ten grassroots Coaches, will work with the Arsenal youth coaches presently in Sierra Leone to strengthen grassroots football.

Keister made this disclosure to over thirty grassroots coaches attending sessions at the FA. He stressed that selection will be done purely on merits and capability, because the current introductory program will pave the way for the C-License course.

Topics covered so far are Child Protection, Health and Safety and First Aid.

He said ” These areas are vital because grassroots football is purely about children and Coaches should be able to deal with emergencies and injuries.

Addressing the coaches further, Keister encouraged them to be disciplined and organized in their delivery and approach towards the game.
