‘Unity is key to our success’ – Mohamed Sasso
Mohamed Sasso has told his colleague veterans footballers to be united as one family as it is only through unity that they will achieve their goals.
He made this pronouncement at the Football Academy, Kingtom after the grand finale of the Veterans Unite gala which he sponsored.
The veteran players who supported the current Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President, Madam Isha Johansson, Messrs Rodney Micheal, and Mohamed Kallon, all took part in the gala as a sign that peace has finally been restored amongst the veteran players.
Mohamed Sasso who came from America said he was disturbed when he heard that the election of the SLFA President had split his colleagues but was delighted to see them playing together again.
“We should not allow politics or individuals to split us apart,” he appealed.
The two days gala attracted all veteran footballers across the Western Area.
