DTO Kissy raised over Le 100 million in 2013
The District Traffic Officer (DTO) of ‘D’ Divisional Headquarters, Kissy, Inspector Victoria Sesay, has disclosed to Sierra Express Media that she and her team of dedicated Police Officers were able to raise for Government over Leones 100 million, mostly from fines paid by vehicles drivers and bike rides for traffic offences. She emphasized that she is determined to double that amount this year.
She warned lawless drivers, especially taxi, Poda poda drivers, and bike riders to observe the traffic rules and regulations as she will not make any compromises with defaulting drivers and riders.
She maintained that they will leave no stone unturned in the discharge of their duties to instill discipline into road users.
She pointed out that law abiding drivers and riders will continue to be her friend. She explained that quite recently a Sierra Leonean citizen in the Diaspora commended her for her good work and admonished her not to relent in the discharge of her duties.
It is no gainsaying that the no-nonsense Inspector Victoria I. Sesay has discharged her duties with distinction which has gained her laurels both nationally and internationally.
She is said to be corrupt free, dedicated to duty, loyal, kind, firm, focused, an administrator per excellence and result oriented.
Because of her uprightness and her courage, she was named as the Best District Officer by some youths of the Wellington community last year.
